Yuva came to me at a very crucial time in my life, says Vivek Oberoi

Yuva, Mani Ratnam’s 2004 multistarrer comprising powerhouse performances by Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Esha Deol and Sonu Sood will re-release today in theatres. A generation-defining film, powered by Ratnam’s vision, remarkable performances by its leads, and music by A. R. Rahman, the multi-narrative drama explores the themes of love, idealism of youth, rebellion, class, masculinity and the clash with power and corruption. The film will find a new audience 22 years after its release. Vivek Oberoi told Mumbai Mirror, “I am thrilled to know that one of my most favourite films, Yuva, will re-release in theaters on Feb 20th. This film will always be incredibly special to me.
